A drive to Byron Bay from Gold Coast
After 2 days of theme parks, we took a break and drove to Byron Bay from Gold Coast. In under 2 hours we were there. A stroll around the walking track at Cape Byron Lighthouse is highly recommended. This is Mainland Australia's most easterly point. We were lucky to see some whales, unfortuanately my camera lenses are not powerful enough to take picutres of them.
